		<description>Hello Alanson

I think that the challenges facing the world today are a source of opportunity and not something to be feared. I agree with your vision that we can make changes and this is especially true in the cities that are growing bigger and bigger. There is much talk of outsourcing and globalisation today but problems and the needed solutions such as you describe are local and can be a source of employment and wealth for generations to come.

Best wishes

		<description>Hello James,

I am a born solver. While attending Art Center College of Design in Pasadena 95-98, I was inspired to develop a system that I could use to quickly determine whether or not a building, town, village or city was sustainable.

I call it the WholEarth system and is a direct result of the works and observations of R. Buckminster Fuller.

Housing, water, food, energy and occupation are the five elements needed at the foundation of sustainability.

Within these five elements are the &quot;Green jobs&quot; that everyone is talking about.

I like to step back and look at the bigger picture. I&#039;m hoping to connect with others who look at the big picture too.

Imagine a high rise building that looks like a giant redwood tree rising from the forest of other building trees.

All use water and gravity to create all needed cooling and heat energy. Super insulated, they produce food in abundance. Passive and active energy provide all needed energy to provide a healthy rich environment where people can live and work and love themselves and each other and the planet we all share.

I hope you can help me find others to work with.

I look forward to meeting them soon.

Very Kindly Yours
